My name is Ram. I am originally from Nepal, country of the Himalayas which lies in South Asia between India and China. I Immigrated to Canada in 2012 and have been living in Mississauga with my family. I find the City of Mississauga very livable and suitable for my family.
Obviously, since I am Nepalese Canadian, I also like Nepali cuisine. I do not really prefer so called western fast foods, however, I am fond of Italian pasta, chicken recipes, and Mexican desserts. I enjoy cooking and especially love to experiment with new items and to explore new tastes, though my experiments have turned out to be disastrous several times. Besides cooking, I like music. Although I enjoy various kinds of music, I prefer romantic country songs. I cannot stand novels. I find it very boring to read novels or poems. Instead, I prefer to watch lively movies made out of the novel. I like all kinds of movies but not the science fiction kind. They are so unreal and illogical. I would rather spend time watching some realistic movies.
I am a sport loving person. In fact, I play soccer with a Mississauga based amateur soccer club. I also like to play tennis, badminton and ping pong. Whenever I get the opportunity, I enjoy extreme sports commonly known as "adventurous sports", for instance paragliding, rafting, and kayaking.
I prefer to call myself a positive thinker and down-to-earth person. I find happiness in helping a needy person. I do believe in God but I do not follow any religious scripture. I am of the belief that men had written these doctrines, and they have been well framed to suit their need. I would argue that these so called holy books have misguided human beings, and are of one of the causes of conflict on this earth, be it past or present. Being said that, however, I praised the immense effect it has been in mankind. Admittedly, all religious sacred wit motives us to live a good life.
