You will need:
· 60 in. of string (craft lace)
· scissors
· 66 pony beads (4 different colours)
· a keychain ring
Directions:
The Head:
Step 1: You need to take a string and make it equal by folding the string. Next, make a loop at the other end.
Step 2: With the keychain, clip it to the loop then make a knot. Now get a bead and place the string through the hole and pull up.
Step 3: Take your right string and put it through the same bead in the opposite direction. Your right string should be pulled through the bead and now on the left side. Then pull both strings and make them tight. This is the basic pattern you will continue to use for each line of beads.
Step 4: Get two beads and lace the left string through both of the holes. Thread them up the string a little. With the right string, place the string inside the beads, and through the beads to the left (facing the other direction). Pull them tight.
Step 5: Get two different color beads from first ones (to make the eyes) with an original colour and lace them all on the left string. Lace the right string through the beads like in the previous step. Tighten these beads up to the previous two beads to finish the eyes. Repeat this step with four more beads and again with three beads. Your head should be getting smaller now (like a triangular shape).
The Arms:
Step 6: On the right string, you need to lace two of the original color on the string and three of a different color. With the same string, lace the string through the first two colors and pull it tight. Once again, repeat this pattern with the other string to make another arm. After that, pull the strings tight and lace three more beads underneath to begin making the body.
The Body:
Step 7: Next, you keep doing the same pattern adding four beads, then five beads, again five more beads, and decrease the beads again by four beads.
The Legs:
Step 8: Do the same as was done for the arms and place a line of three beads and then a line of two beads.
The Tail:
Step 9: Finally, add five beads to make the tail one by one then tie a knot. Now it is done!
