3 Easy Steps to Make Pumpkin Pie - by Ninan S.

Pumpkin pie is very popular during fall and it is really easy to prepare. Here are 3 easy steps on how to make eggless pumpkin pie.

Step One: Gather the ingredients. You will need:

  • ½ of a small pumpkin
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • ½ cup of butter
  • ½ tsp. of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • ½ tsp of ginger paste
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of water

Step Two:  Make the pie filling. You will need to:

  • Preheat the oven to 350˚ F
  • Peel the pumpkin and cut it into squares
  • Put the pumpkin in an aluminum plate and cover it tightly with aluminum foil then roast it for about half an hour
  • Blend it and put into a medium bowl and add brown sugar, ginger paste, cinnamon, and milk
  • Stir the ingredients well

Step Three: Make the pastry. You will need to:

  • Preheat the oven to 450˚ F
  • Combine flour, salt, and butter in a large bowl and mix all together
  • Add water and stir everything to make the dough
  • Roll the dough and make it around 1/8th of an inch thick
  • Apply a small amount of butter to the aluminum pie plate, so that the crust won’t stick to it
  • Put the rolled dough in the plate and add the blended pumpkin
  • Put the pie into the oven for about 50 minutes

Now the pumpkin pie is ready to serve. You can serve pumpkin pie with ice cream or whipped cream. Pumpkin pie is good to eat and easy to prepare. I hope you like it!
